My name is Sully Serrano-Salas, and I am a Branch Manager with American Bank & Trust at our Grand Prairie location.

I was born and raised in Amelia, Puerto Rico, making Spanish my first language. My family moved to the Black Hills area when I was 12 years old and thanks to the ESL program at Douglas Middle School, I was able to learn English. I graduated from Douglas High School, went on to Chadron State College, and completed my bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music Business. I then decided music was not the career path I wanted to pursue and started working at a credit counseling agency, which is where my passion for helping people with finances ignited. I have worked in various areas of the financial world, from bankruptcy & debt management to foreclosure, and then lending & banking.

My significant other and I met in Rapid City, SD and after he graduated from Black Hills State, we decided to move and settle in Sioux Falls. We recently bought our home in Harrisburg, and we absolutely love our neighborhood. Our 14-year-old is a freshman at the Harrisburg Freshman Academy this year, where you will find us cheering on the Tigers Football team. In our spare time, we like to travel, whether domestic or international; we also enjoy going fishing together and hanging out in our garage or patio. I personally enjoy reading a good book, watching true crime shows, and spending time with family.

I was recruited to American Bank & Trust in September 2023 and was very captivated by AB&T’s culture and core values as they line up with my own.  I have a passion for helping people as well as coaching others to continue their career path so that they too can reach their goals and aspirations.
