My name is Jamie Wassink, and I am a Personal Banker with American Bank & Trust.
I was born and raised in a suburb outside of Minneapolis, MN, but I graduated from high school in Platte, SD. After high school, I attended Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls, SD, where I gained my associate degree in business administration and human Resources. I then continued my education by receiving a bachelor’s degree in management from National American University.
My husband, Heath, and I have been married for 23 years. We have three beautiful daughters – Madison, Jada, and Josie – and two male dogs – Milo is our Shih Tzu and Theo is our mini–Aussie Doodle. Our household is very busy, but we are starting to reach the point when it might slow down. Our oldest daughter, Madison, is attending grad school at Creighton University, and our middle child, Jada, will be attending University of South Dakota for her undergraduate degree. That leaves us with our youngest, Josie left in the house, but she keeps us plenty busy with her activities. Outside of work, we enjoy spending time together in Okoboji where we have a permanent camp spot, boating with family and friends, and playing games.
I fell in love with the culture of American Bank & Trust and hope I can share that culture with you. From your first step into an AB&T branch, we will welcome you with a warm smile and we take the time to learn not only your name but want to learn about you.
My promise to you is that I will provide you with the most supportive environment in a trustworthy and caring manner. Together, we can work to find the best products and services that offer financial solutions for your needs.
“I can’t wait to show you how much I truly care about your financial needs by assisting you in finding simple banking solutions in a trustworthy and caring environment.”
