American Bank & Trust Appoints New Board Member

Sioux Falls, SD – February 9, 2023 – American Bank & Trust (AB&T) is proud to welcome Bob Sutton to its Board of Directors.

Bob Sutton is a South Dakota native who serves as President and CEO for Avera Health in Sioux Falls, SD. Bob joined Avera Health in 2013 after serving as President of the South Dakota Community Foundation for ten years. His professional and executive experience includes positions as CEO for the South Dakota Bankers Association, Executive Director of both the South Dakota Petroleum Council and the South Dakota Petroleum Marketers Association, and Senior Vice President at Citibank, South Dakota.

Sutton currently serves on the boards of the Catholic Healthcare Association, the USD Discovery District, the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce, the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, and the South Dakota Community Foundation. He is also a past president of the South Dakota Board of Regents and past chairman of the South Dakota Housing Authority.

Bob and his wife of 31 years, Lori, have two grown children. In his spare time, Bob enjoys hunting, golf, travel, and reading historical political theory.
