Aberdeen – American Bank & Trust and the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 9th to celebrate the grand opening of the new American Bank & Trust building, located at 320 6th Avenue Southeast in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Brent Heinert, American Bank & Trust Market President, did the honor of cutting the ribbon with several AB&T staff in attendance. Many Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce member were also in attendance.
“We would like to thank the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce for our recent ribbon cutting ceremony,” stated Heinert. “We are excited to be in Aberdeen and serving the community by helping businesses, farmers and families obtain their financial goals.”
American Bank & Trust joined the Aberdeen community in 2022 with a temporary location until the renovations were completed on the building. The bank and staff took residency in their new location at 320 6th Avenue Southeast in Aberdeen on June 13, 2022.
At the ribbon cutting event, guests were able to tour the new building and learn about American Bank & Trust services.
American Bank & Trust offers an array of financial services, such as, personal banking, mortgage, business, agriculture, and trust & wealth management. The new building features approximately 10,000 square feet of space that will offer the banking staff more room to operate. There are teller stations and a drive thru window for conducting your financial needs. If you prefer to discuss and conduct your financial services in private, there are offices available to do so.

Lobby Hours: Mon – Fri: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Drive Thru Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
