My name is Susan Dillon, and I am an Ag Business Banker with American Bank & Trust.

I was born and raised in Iroquois, SD. I graduated from Iroquois High School and went to college for a short time before receiving an offer to work at Farmers & Merchants State Bank in Iroquois. My education was the ‘school of hard knocks’ and I was able to move into several areas of the banking business.

I am a widow and have 3 grown children and 8 grandchildren. My oldest son lives in De Smet, my daughter lives in Madison, and my youngest son lives in Carthage. I enjoy spending time with my family.

I had transitioned from Farmers & Merchants State Bank when it was bought by Farmers State Bank in Stickey. Then, American Bank & Trust purchased Farmers State Bank. AB&T is a ‘big bank’ but with a community mindset, no matter how big or small the community. That is extremely important in the rural areas of South Dakota. I enjoy working with the public and have been fortunate to work with some wonderful customers. It is always nice to be able to hear stories from customers, with the hopes that we can help them reach their potential. AB&T really makes a difference because we really listen to your customer needs.
