Jeff Grobe
VP, Ag Business Banker
"Few things in life are more rewarding than helping my clients prepare, plan and execute a plan that results in financial success."
My name is Jeff Grobe and I am a VP, Ag and Business Banker with American Bank & Trust.
While a lot of people may claim to be from Veblen, SD, I really am! I grew up in Veblen before I attended Jamestown College. While at Jamestown College, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Economics, History, and Political Science.
I maintain a pretty busy lifestyle and outside of working with my clients, I have a passion for golfing, fishing, and archery hunting. You can also find me at the lake on the pontoon with my wife Matilda. We share 5 children and 13 grandchildren. Yes, you read that correctly – 13 grandchildren! And we love to spend time spoiling each and every one of them. My wife Matilda and I also like to travel to warm destinations all year round, but especially during winter to escape the snowy South Dakota winter.
American Bank & Trust offers a rewarding experience to customers that you can’t find anywhere else. The leadership of the bank still values input and thoughts from everyone on the AB&T team to make good lending decisions. AB&T isn’t like other banks that rely on algorithms and corporate only decisions. If other banks continue to turn you down, find a bank that matches your goal achieving attitude with me at American Bank & Trust.
My past work experiences in owning other businesses, being a financial planner, and owning a mortgage company have given me a broad width and depth of knowledge to help you find and take advantage of opportunities as well as help you make good financial decisions.
